Waste to Fuel
The Services include Project Assessment & Feasibility study, Identification & Sourcing of Technology / Equipment / Commissioning Service Providers, Detailed Engineering / Project Report preparation, Facilitate public, private partnerships with local Municipal Authorities & overall Support & monitoring for successful commercialization of the Project.
APTDC has assisted its client to set up a 700 TPD Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Processing Plant at Hyderabad. The plant has been producing Fuel Pellets / briquettes having calorific value of over 3500 kcal/kg. The fuel is being sold to various industries having coal fired boilers including power plants.
This plant has implemented a 6.6 MW Power Plant to use the fuel generated from MSW at their MSW Processing Plant. The power plant has been commissioned in November 2003 and is exporting power to the grid since then.
APTDC has assisted M/s Shriram Energy Systems Limited in establishing a 6 MW Power Plant based on fuel derived from the MSW Processing Plants located at Vijayawada and Guntur. Both the process plants have been commissioned in the first half of 2003 and the Power Plant has been synchronised with the grid on 26.11.03.
The Power Plant is commissioned and has been exporting power to the grid since November 2003.
